7.15DELTA SURPRISE returns to Will Rogers and takes a big drop in class and distance, which all look wise moves. He was a close-up third on his last run over this course and distance and should find this a lot easier than his recent efforts at Oaklawn.

Shawn Again has been knocking on the door with a couple of placed runs here last month. He hasn’t been getting the best of luck and will be a danger.

Okie Buck is dropping in grade and is capable of better than we’ve seen here so far.

CHECKERBOARD looks a big price for a horse that has performed well in better races than this. She has a good record at this track and showed promise when four lengths off the pace last time.

Right On By went well for a long way here latest before fading in the closing stages. Her trainer has a good record at this level so she’s respected.

Honest N Lucky has been going well and won with something to spare here last month. That was over this distance and she will be competitive again given today’s rider has won three times on her.

SEDARIS rarely runs a bad race with two wins and four places from his past eight outings. He showed plenty on his Will Rogers debut when a fast-finishing second. He met trouble in running and may have scored with better luck.

Morhawk came with a right rattle to be beaten in a head-bobber at Houston latest. This mile trip is ideal and he’ll be on the premise again.

Dak Da Man saves his best for this distance and finished off well when fourth here last time. He has blinkers on today which could produce more.

ABSTRACT PAYNTER hit the frame on his course debut last time. He seemed to enjoy this mile distance and wasn’t helped by being forced wide when making his challenge. A repeat of that could see him get off the mark.

Concrete Finisher has gone close on both spins around here including last time when just ahead of the selection. It should be a good battle between them again.

Evie’s Prince is having just his second run and is likely to improve plenty for his opening fourth placed run.

SHELL FIRE is taking a welcome drop in class after some mixed efforts at Houston. His trainer has a good strike-rate when teaming up with today’s rider and he should make his presence felt back on dirt.

Cairo King has few miles on the clock and has some decent form over this distance. He has clocked some decent speed figures and should be in the mix.

Its Yes ran on well over this trip latest and the yard does well with horses coming back from a break as he does today.

WOODS OF CONGAREE is dropping in grade despite running well with a couple of placed efforts over slightly longer around here. He was in the lead for a long way over six furlongs last month so this shorter trip should be ideal.

Burbach is going in the other direction class-wise after doing close here latest. He was in front 100 yards from the line so is another who will enjoy this sharper test.

Poppy’s Oats has moved yards with bits and pieces of form at Houston under his belt and is another to watch.

LADY LAURA looks the one to beat after two close seconds at Houston ahead of this track switch. She showed understandable greenness last time and is capable of better on her fourth career run.

Quick Calisia hit the post here latest despite being bumped a couple of times when making her challenge. She goes up in grade but the quality of opposition doesn’t seem much stronger.

Pussycat Pussycat comes from a family that produces plenty of first-time-out winners so she is one to watch in the betting.

BOX SEAT was more than a little unlucky when finishing a close second on his course debut last time out. He was bumped a couple of times and had to come wide which didn’t help. A repeat of that would see him go very close.

Tapsolution is having his sights lowered after a fair debut at Oaklawn last month. He boxed on over the six furlongs so should be happy tackling the mile.

Just Ask Joel has gone close on both starts and improved on his debut when second at Houston over seven furlongs latest. He’s another who will appreciate this distance.

MOMMA’S BABY BOY came back from 18 months off the track to finish an excellent second on debut for new connections in February. He had some decent form at the likes of Del Mar before his break and should be capable of challenging at this level.

Sugoi had more than three lengths in hand when scoring at Turfway Park last time. He’ll be competitive again if handling the switch to dirt.

Lindante won nicely here two starts ago and didn’t get much luck out wide latest.

KEANNA has a win and two places from her four runs around here and was on the premises again last time out. She didn’t quite get home over six furlongs latest so this shorter distance should be ideal.

Who’s Fooling Who went close on course debut here last month. She was forced wide so could get closer with more luck in running.

Nurse List won on debut here before a good second latest over further. She’s proven in this grade so will be a threat.
