Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has voiced his hope that”this is my time” following his fantastic hat-trick from the 5-2 win at Wolves.
Abraham’s treble on Saturday saw him spike to the top of the Premier League scoring charts with seven targets, where he was joined by the Sergio Aguero of Manchester City.
The 21-year-old, who’d gone into the match with netted back-to-back doubles is trusting his fruitful run of form can assist him cement his position at Chelsea’s first team.
Abraham informed Chelsea’s official website:”I have been working hard and hopefully this really is my season. It’s up to me to continue revealing the gaffer (Frank Lampard) in each game and training session that I am starving and I need success.
“He informed me at half-time to keep on and get the hat-trick so I thought and remained focused. I have just got to be prepared to bring every opportunity that comes my way. I’m working hard and I am just thrilled to find that pay off with my intentions [on Saturday] in addition to the 3 factors.”
Abraham was one of a trio of Chelsea academy graduates for whom it was a great day — the others being defender Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori.
England U21 Tomori started the scoring in the 31st minute with a superb strike.
Abraham added:”I was thinking’do not take, Fikayo’ but everybody is delighted for him. In training, he has been trying it every day and smashing on windows but [against pilots ] it paid off — it was a fantastic strike.

Chelsea boss Lampard heaped compliments using the striker continuing to settle his boss because of his faith, on Abraham following the match.
