Norwich City face a mounting injury crisis with center Timm Klose set to be out to get a”few months” using a knee issue.
The Swiss global endured a posterior cruciate ligament injury in his right knee at the Carabao Cup defeat to Crawley Town on August 27.
Klose submitted on Instagram:”Regrettably I have to have a break for a few months out of doing the thing that I love the most.
“During this period that my teammates and the team have my complete support.
“Time I’d like to repair the problem, recover and come back stronger than ever before!”
The Canaries have also verified midfielder Tom Trybull was ruled out for six months after sustaining a knee ligament injury in the 2-0 loss to West Ham on Saturday.
The team will continue to assess center half Christoph Zimmerman, that had been taken to hospital.
Head coach Daniel Farke has a depleted backline with club captain Grant Hanley pulling out of Scotland’s squad for their forthcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Belgium and Russia with a groin injury.
This leaves Ben Godfrey since the simply match centre of the club back.
Norwich are 19th in the Premier League table with just one win in their opening four games back.
