Ahead of the start of the NFL’s 100th year, you run through each of the Sky Sports coverage this season.
The team is currently celebrating its centenary season, and Sky Sports will be through 17 weeks of the playoffs action and then Super Bowl LIV at Miami.
‘NFL 100′ claims to be bigger than before a summer of storylines and blockbuster transactions. Can anybody stop the New England Patriots, who won the second Super Bowl in three years last season?
Don’t miss a thing with Sky Sports…
During the summer, we will show every Thursday night, Sunday night and Monday night game live, next to two Sunday night games.
Each Monday at 5.30pm, and we will announce our live matches to the upcoming week.
The action starts on Thursday using all the fierce rivalry between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears getting the season.
On Sunday, we will have our initial regular-season look at Odell Beckham Jr in a Browns jersey, as the Tennessee Titans are hosted by Cleveland. The Cowboys and Giants continue their NFC East rivalry in our Sunday kick-off.
We then combine our friends at NBC for Sunday Night Football because the champion Patriots unveil their Super Bowl LIII banner and host the Pittsburgh Steelers .
Until Jon Gruden’s Oakland Raiders host the Denver Broncos in an AFC West match-up, week One finishes with a playoff-calibre match-up involving the Houston Texans and New Orleans Saints.
Neil Reynolds will be your host each and every week, joined by returning Shaun Gayle along with Jeff Reinebold.
But this season, Neil and co is going to be joined by big names than ever before, such as Seattle Super Bowl winner Cliff Avril, that is in London with us. Avril is among four Super Bowl champions in our rolling cast of guests that includes new faces and old friends.
Former Titans quarterback Vince Young makes his introduction with Sky Sports this year, although Brian Baldinger, Takeo Spikes, Dallas Clark, Bucky Brooks and Will Blackmon come again for longer.
Our friends from the Around NBC’s Peter King provides us his take and the NFL podcast will offer the typical amusement in addition to an exclusive trailer of his Football Morning in America column.
New for 2019 will be access to the author swimming pool of the NFL, such as Daniel Jeremiah Jane Slater and Aditi Kinkhabwala where we’ll hear from those who have been closest to the teams throughout the week.
This year, we will broadcast NBC’s Professional Football Talk, hosted by Mike Florio and Chris Simms, each Monday-Friday at 7pm on Sky Sports Action (note the show might be moved for additional live sports coverage).
Additionally, after each Sunday late game and before Sunday Night Football (approximately 12.30am), we will turn our coverage around to Football Night in America, where Mike Tirico, Rodney Harrison, Tony Dungy and Florio will review the very top of this day’s actions and look ahead to SNF.
If you miss this action on Sunday, as our new jaw-dropping highlights show has you covered, do not worry. We’ll bring you the best of this activity on Sky Sports, including moments from your studio, investigation and all the plays.
The jam-packed show will air at 7am on Monday mornings on Sky Sports Action, also if you’re unable to wake up this early, then it will be repeated at 9pm and on Demand.
As always, NFL Films provides a lot of additional programming and following on from the Hard Knocks finale, New England’s latest’America’s Game’ will soon be available to watch, as well as shows to observe the 100th season of the NFL as iconic players will discuss their most inspirational and memorable moments.

Airing on Wednesday at 9pm on Sky Sports Action through the year, guests, Jeff and Neil can make certain you’re current with all the latest information and talking points.
