GULFSTREAM PARK

5.55

DINNER AT FIVE took really well to this turf course and distance when second last time out. She was coming back from a long break so is likely to be fitter and can go one better. Myfirstexwife hit the crossbar here latest and is a big danger.

6.24

FOUR K’S should be much happier back on dirt where she’s clocked her best speed figures after a couple of spins on turf. Wesley Ward has his horses running well and she won’t be far away.

Memorize got the job done last time despite going wide and should cope with this shorter trip.

6.53

MIGHTY FAST takes a drop in class here on the back of a good second over a shorter distance last time. He improved as the race went on so this stiffer test of stamina should be ideal.

Strong Ending has been well backed on his past two runs without delivering. He switches surfaces today which may unlock his ability.

7.23

LALALI looks hard to beat taking a hefty drop in class for new connections. She didn’t get home over a mile last time and will be much happier tackling this sprint distance. She has plenty of early pace so should be able to nip away from her rivals and she’ll take plenty of catching.

Fast Venezuela looks a threat on her easy win over course and distance two starts ago. She went off too quickly last time and will hopefully settle better here.

Princess Ulele has been going well in stronger races than this including when third over half a furlong further latest. She was forced wide there, which didn’t help, and she looks a threat.

7.53

POP A CHOC showed lots of promise when fourth on debut here last time. She just tired in the final half-furlong and that run should have done her the world of good.

Talking Book has a tricky draw but has been working well and could figure.

8.23

KIFFLE had almost eight lengths in hand when winning here latest and this race doesn’t look a lot tougher. She steps up to the dead mile for the first time for a trainer-jockey team that boasts a 50% win record lately.

Bareeqa is coming back from a break but was in winning form here before and should be competitive again in this lower grade.

8.53

BROOKES ALL MINE should run well on debut for a trainer who is running at 50% winners in recent weeks. She has an excellent record at Gulfstream with two wins and three seconds from her six races. She won a similar contest by four lengths last month before not getting the clearest of runs here last time. This trip is ideal and she can add to her course record.

Tiz Possible Dear is another who likes this track and showed some promise on debut over this mile latest. That was her first run after a little break so she could build on it.

Grace’s Drama was a place behind the tip last time when finishing off well and may get a little closer today.

9.25

NO WORD is taking a big drop in class after being sent off favourite in a Belmont Grade 3 last time out in September. He was only two lengths away there and his trainer has a cracking record with horses returning from a break.

Mystic Lancelot was solid third in good company here latest and should be thereabouts again.

9.55

TRAPPEZOID comes here in cracking form with a convincing win over this trip followed by a smooth success over a furlong shorter last time. He improved as that race went on so this mile looks his optimum distance. His speed figures are a cut above these rivals and he can land the hat-trick.

Il Faraone put in his best effort for a while when a closing second here last month. He has winning form over this distance and is taking a drop in class which boosts his claims.

Yes I See comes from an in-form trainer and was second on both outings here last month. This represents a drop in grade so he should in the picture again.

10.25

BELIEVE INDEED has a sporting chance at decent odds. She was second a couple of times on this turf track before a solid third on the dirt latest. The yard does well in this grade and she has solid place claims.

Cariba finished like a train to be beaten a nose over half a furlong shorter and gets another 110 yards to hit top gear today which could make all the difference.

10.55

RENATA is trained by top handler Kenneth McPeek who has a great record with horses having their second second start. She showed real promise when second over course and distance on debut and doesn’t have to find a lot more.

Let Them Eat Cake was just run out of it in the final few yards here last time and has more to offer.
