SWEET BLOSSOM takes a real drop in class here having been running against stronger horses on dirt and turf at Tampa Bay. She has in form rider Luis Saez in the saddle and has no issues with the trip.
Brookes All Mine has two wins and a second from her three runs this season and will be no pushover as she returns to former trainer Robert Hess.Vicky Apple has been knocking on the door and was a good third over course and distance. A repeat of that would put her right on the premises again.
OCEAN FIRE looks to be crying out for this sort of trip after staying on well to finish third last time. The form of that race is already working out well with a couple of winners coming from it. Trainer Bill Mott has given her a little break which usually pays dividends with runners from his yard.
Tizahara may not have got home over further last time but still finished a good second, ahead of Pardon My Heart who reopposes today. Both of them should be happier at this distance and look the main dangers.
BEAN COUNTER looks the best bet on the card taking a welcome drop in distance. This mile should suit him well as he has plenty of speed and this looks a softer race than last time. He was coming back from a break there and should be fitter for the experience.
She Fled The Scene was forced to take a wide route when second over a mile latest and should run well again if getting a clearer run. This trip should suit well.
I Am Magical takes a drop in class here having gone well for much of the way before finishing fifth last time.
BLAZING DESIRE goes well over course and distance and cut out too strong a pace last time when fading into fourth place. He won well in a slightly better race than this two starts ago and is capable of bouncing back for his in-form yard.
Castagno has plenty of decent form at this level with three wins and two places from the past six outings. He came from a long way back to score last time and is capable of going close again.
Mystery Bank showed improved form when second latest and it wouldn’t take a lot more to strike.
MOROCCO has been running in much stronger contests than this and led for a long way last time before paying the price late on. He should be capable of hitting the front again and staying there at this level.
Westerland is another having their sights lowered having been beaten by a subsequent Grade 2 winner last time. This trip is ideal and he can be part of a 1-2 for trainer Michael Maker.
Golden Decision could be a fly in the ointment after after winning from out wide last time. That takes a fair bit of doing.
ANGELIA will appreciate this hike in distance after finishing off well in third over six furlongs last time. This race looks no tougher and the longer trip can do the trip for Todd Pletcher’s hopeful. She is very well bred and could have more to offer.
Navasha lost her maiden tag here latest and should be just as effective today, although the opposition is a little stronger. The little break will have freshened her nicely.
Slingin Sammy B has a good record over this trip with two wins and four places. She steps up in distance which looks a wise move.
