Denver Nuggets

After three consecutive home victories Denver stumbled in Houston, where the defense was neglected, but we must admit that stopping the Rockets at the expense of defense is a very difficult challenge. With the guest meetings at Nuggets everything is still sad – seven losses in a row, although in five meetings Coloradians gained a hundred, but the defense was failing.

The Nuggets have gained incredible form recently, have not lost in the main time at the last five games and are committed about catching up with the leader of Los Angeles Lakers.

Also in previous matches against Utah Jazz the team managed to gain a volitional victory, losing in the course of the match. Willingness and the desire to win are crucial to success in this season for Denver.

Phoenix Suns

The team from Arizona has not been able to show good results and a convincing game in the last month. In the previous fourteen games, Phoenix won only two. The current condition of Suns is far from optimum.

Not only does the team already have virtually no motivation, but the key player – Devin Booker – is also likely to miss this match, as well as the last two.

Without their actual sole leader, Suns couldn’t even score a hundred points in the past two games, completely embarrassing themselves in the game with San Antonio. Monty Williams team has a number of young and promising players at their disposal, but their rivals potentially look much more powerful.

Injuries reports

  • Denver Nuggets: Paul Millsap, Will Barton, Mason Plumlee, Jerami Grant, Jordan McRae, Michael Porter Jr.
  • Phoenix Suns: Aron Baynes, Tyler Johnson, Frank Kaminsky, Dario Saric

Nuggets vs Suns Prediction

Denver is an absolute favorite in this standoff. Nuggets solve the tournament challenges and their own fans will not understand them if they can’t beat the team in such a terrible condition as Phoenix. The Arizonians have terrible statistics on their last matches and they will certainly not be able to fix it in a match against one of the leaders of the season.

Our prediction: Denver Nuggets will win.
