Joint-manager of the Clare senior hurlers, Gerry O’Connor, has resigned.
Three years after he took up the reins alongside Donal Moloney, O’Connor has resigned. Before obtaining the occupation before this 2017 season after the departure of Davy Fitzgerald, the duo had enjoyed a period responsible for the county’s underage teams.
It remains unclear as to whether Moloney will remain at the helm.
Throughout their stint, the duo led the Banner County to the in 2018, where they missing out to champions Galway with a point after a playoff.
Despite picking up two wins as Clare failed to make it during the Munster around robin however, that the 2019 campaign wasn’t as powerful.
